In 1938, a young entrepreneur by the name of Harold Jones borrowed $300 from his parents and began selling windows out of the back of his Ford pick up truck. To come up with the money, Harold’s parents had to mortgage their furniture! How’s that for confidence in your son. The investment was a good one, as from these small Utah County beginnings emerged Utah’s largest paint and glass company, Jones Paint & Glass.
